(2) The Excellence Stamina: 4 Cs to Excellence
I. Rationale
Collins dictionary defines “excellence” as the fact or condition of excelling; surpassing
goodness. Oxford languages, on the other hand, defines “excellence” as the quality of being
outstanding or extremely good.
One thing is common from these definitions – excellence means more than just being good. Jim
Collins, further, elaborates this idea of excellence in his bestselling book “Good to Great.” In a
nutshell, he meant why would we settle for being good when we can be great?
In view of a very competitive business landscape nowadays, the excellent performance at work
and the excellent attitude in working as a team are in demand. These are not just for one’s
personal and professional growth but most importantly for business sustainability. Companies
do not just settle for less. Companies do not just hire employees who submit outputs for
compliance purposes or just the bare minimum. Now more than ever, we need a workforce that
strives for excellence in whatever they do. After all, we always believe that one’s career journey
is really about pursuing excellence in a career’s pit stops, detours or destinations.
This workshop dubbed as the Excellence Stamina is a great jumpstart for companies in order to
see excellence among their workers. This module follows the 4 Cs framework: Clarity of Vision,
Clarity of Communication, Clarity of Habits and Clarity of Growth.
Where there is clarity, there is alignment. Where there is alignment, there is success.
